Close To The Body (Week One) Master in Advanced Interaction 2012/2013
Close To The Body is a research study on smart textiles . A study is part of the Master in Advanced Interaction conducted by the Institute of Advanced Aquitectura Catalonia ( IaaC ) in which students ESDi been part of bringing knowledge in design and fabrics . This piece is a summary of the first week in which he taught the students investiganr , experiment and create the first prototypes of clothing interactive with the human body.
In collaboration with Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and ESDI we had the final presentation of the Close to the Body Research. Whith the work of the tutors Oscar Tomico (TU/e), Marina Castan(ESDi), Sietske Klooster, Eunjeong Jeon, Martijn ten Bhömer, Eva Deckers, Kristi Kuusk, Marina Toeters, Guillem Camprodón and Anastasia Pistofidou

Beyond Garment
Beyond Garment investigates the boundaries of fashion beyond the 'frock'. It explores fashion pieces not as accessories for the body but as forms of art within their own right. Beyond Garment showcases some of Western Austraila's most creative designers and artists including Elizabeth Delfs, Alister Yiap, Antipodium, Maggie Baxter, Eunjeong Jeon, Nalda Searles and Sophie Kyron. Beyond Garment is presented by the Western Australian Museum and Perth Fashion Festival with support from the Department of Culture and the Arts.
